My friends Laura and Todd were guinea pigs today for me so I could try out some new locations. These were taken at the American Tobacco area of Durham - lots of cool spots here. I definitely want to do more shoots at this place.

This is a sweet family - Maura loved the "ducklins"! It started to get chilly, but everyone was pretty happy!

one little tiger

It was tough to get my 20-month-old, Benjamin, to stand still so I could actually get a photo of his adorable tiger costume!

Kyleigh

I wanted to scout out some funky, interesting, new locations for photos, and thought Kyleigh would be the perfect help! she was willing to help out so we met out at Brightleaf square, where we were met with a great cloudy day and found some cool places. the purple brick is a body shop, and it would have been awesome to get those words in the frame, but there was a super old car parked in front of it...in hindsight, I probably could have had her sit on the car, but didn't think about it then. Next time...
