So, I read about this
challenge on
Chrissy's blog. She's much craftier than I, but since I love to make photo albums (not really scrapbooking, I don't really have the time for that - just my photographs plus very few embellishments - maybe a word or phrase, or possibly some striped paper...) and I have all sorts of random cardstock/paper/stickers around, I thought I'd give it a shot. There are prizes to be won, and nothing to lose. Plus, I have a cute card I can send to someone {Chrissy, maybe? :)} Also, my baby is sick and "sleeping" in his crib, so I thought rather than listen to him cough I'd do something a little more fun for me. So here's my attempt at crafty. Don't worry, it won't happen often. ;) Hope you like it!
I like solid, bold color with pops of pattern, so I decided to keep it fairly simple: blue and yellow cardstock with some pretty ribbon, circular raised resin stckers, and a sentiment that I love!
Rachel is one of my best friends - we met in college when we had all four classes in common our junior year, and are seemingly of one brain most of the time. (Well, not one brain total, but we think the same way...you know what I mean!) She married her high school sweetheart (awww) nearly eight years ago, and now they're having a baby! Sadie is due in July and I can't wait to meet her.
